Skywarn of Geauga County supports weather spotters using amateur radio communications.

Our job is to take severe weather reports from spotters in the field and relay them to the National Weather Service forecast office in Cleveland.  We activate a severe weather net whenever a tornado warning or severe thunderstorm warning is issued for Geauga County, or when requested by the National Weather Service.

Skywarn is a program of the National Weather Service and is not related to or affiliated with ARES or any club.
